=================================================================
What are your Unit 'Rental Requirements'?
We only have 3 basic requirements...
A) You will need a current government ID
B) You will need a good email address
C) We require "Disc Locks" on all our units
As far as Disc Locks... These are 'round' and usually 'shiny' locks.
You are welcome to supply your own. If you don't have one, you can purchase
these at most hardware stores, Wal-Mart and (of course)
we sell them in-house for $10.00 (Includes tax).
As a side note... Once you've set up a 'Rental Appointment', you are welcome to
come 'loaded down' and ready to move in. Members of your party will be able to
start putting items in your Reserved Unit while you're in the office completing
the Rental Agreement. The Rental Process takes approximately 15 to 20
minutes.

What are your Parking Space 'Rental Requirements'?
Due to Texas State Law, we (like all others) require a little more information
than our storage 'unit' requirements.
A) You will need a current government ID
B) You will need a good email address
C) You will need to provide a copy (or we can copy yours) of your vehicle title
(when applicable).
D) You will need to provide a copy (or we can copy yours) of your vehicle
insurance card.
E) Your item(s) must be in good working condition
F) All Trailers must have a good working 'hitch lock'
G) All Boats must have covers in good condition.
As a site note... We require the type of hitch lock that goes "up inside" the
ball area of the trailer tongue - not the type that simply locks the "lever".

What do you do with my Personal Information?
The protection of your Personal Information is extremely important to us.
Except in the case of 'Lien Situations', your infomation is kept 100%
internally to us and (when applicable) our payment systems.
In the case your account goes into 'Lien Status' (non-payment over 1 month), we
will be required to provide your information to the applicable parties to
initiate and complete the Lien Process (if necessary).
So, as long as your account is kept current, no 'outside entity' (other than
our payment systems when applicable) will have access to any of the personal
information that you provide throughout your Rental Process and stay.

Do you have a Rest Room on your property?
We understand this is an unusual question, but also understand it's importance.
We do have a Rest Room in the office that 'is' available for your use while visiting the property.
If you and/or one of your visitors do need to use it, just call the facility number and the manager
would be more than happy to meet you and take you or your guest via the shortest route to the office
and make the Rest Room available.
We do strongly ask you not to use the facility grounds as a Rest Room as we do have families and
children who visit. So - If you do have to go, please call our manager and he'll be happy to assist.

What is the 'Rental Duration' Requirements of your rentals?
All our rentals are 'Month-To-Month'.
As long as your rent is paid and you follow our Facility Rules, you can rent as
long as you like.
When is rent due?
Rent is always due "by" the 1st of each month.
As a side note... The gate code is changed "on" the 1st of each month, but the 1st Late Fee
does not occur until the 5th. So unless your rent is paid "by" the 1st of the month, you
will not have access to the Facility.

What is your 'Extermination Policy'?
We at Bastrop Guardian Storage have a 'No Pest Tolerance' Policy.
We are very unique in the industry. Most all storage facilities exterminate on
the 'outside' of their units only. However, this does nothing for those
'undesirables' that either 'make it inside a unit' and/or 'are brought in by
another customer'. Once insects and/or rodents make it inside a unit,
Well - there's obviously no reason for them to leave and will move internally
from unit to unit - nesting and destroying everything they infest.
To address this issue, all our units are 'prepped' internally with 'industry
standard' rodent packets and are sprayed with eco-friendly insecticide. The
rodent packets we use are 'industry standard' and if a rodent happens to ingest
them, they will (99.99% of the time) leave the units to look for water. We will
also 'reapply' either of these anytime necessary. And we do all this at no
additional charge to you.

How do you maintain your units?
Bastrop Guardian Storage is one of the most established facilities in our area.
To ensure our units are always working well for our Valued Customers... Along
with our superior extermination policies, we also keep our unit door springs
greased and lubricate their slides. This ensures the doors continue to work as
well for you as possible for the long term.

Do you allow pets on your facility?
Our Manager lives on the property and has 2 people-friendly dogs of his own
that are always with him as he is 'out and about'.
You are welcome to bring your dogs to the property as long as you:
01) Advise the manager prior to visiting with them and
02) are prepared to keep them contained if necessary.
As far as other animals - yes you can bring them, but you must be able to keep
them contained at all times.
As a side note... Even if you leave your pets inside your vehicle, you "must" inform
the Manager "prior" to bringing them onto the Property. My girls "will smell them"
and subsequently "scratch up" the side(s) of your vehicle - unless I'm made aware first.

What are your facility hours?
Although we do not provide (or allow) 24 hour access due to possible 'late night' problems,
We do offer among the most generous 'Access Hours' in our area.
Office Hours:
Monday through Friday: 10:00am to 06:00pm
Saturdays: Closed
Sundays: Noon to 04:00pm
Climate Control Hours:

What is your 'Move-Out' policy?
Your final exit with us should be a relatively easy process (excluding the labor to move, of course)...
All you have to do regarding vacating your unit(s) is/are:
01) Completely empty your unit(s) (including "all" trash) and any "spills" (oil, detergent, etc...) are "reasonably" cleaned.
02) Sweep out the Unit(s) - [Don't forget your broom and Dust Pan].
03) Close and latch the Door(s) to protect them from the elements.
04) Remove your lock(s) (it/they belong to you).
05) When you're done, let me know you've finished via phone or email. Preferably email.
Once you have contacted me that you have completed the steps above, I will take care of your account so you don't get any further invoices, charges or communique's from us and send you an "Account Closed Notification".
As a side note... If you have set up "AutoPay", then I'd recommend you go online as soon as you get a chance and turn it off - just in case. Also... Be aware you'll still receive the usual Invoices and Notices until your Account is Closed.
What is your 'Trash/Dumpster' policy?
We do not have a Dumpster on the Facility at all.
We require the same as any other place and/or person you may visit.
What you bring to our property belongs to you and subsequently, you are
required to remove from the property everything you bring in.
Do not Empty your ashtrays, throw out you 'fast food' bag, etc...) on to our Drives.
The same as you wouldn't throw your cigarette butts and other trash in
your friend's yard or family's drives, we expect you not to do the same
here.
What is your 'Customer Service' policy?
You will find that we take great pride in doing our best to provide the most
superior customer service in the industry.
It is extremely important to us that your rental experience is the best it can
be - all the way from your initial inquiry, to your initial move-in, to the day
you ultimately move out. We want you to be able to 'brag' about the facility
you chose and feel comfortable recommending us to your family, friends and
neighbors should they ever have the need. And (of course), we definitely would
appreciate a good online review if you get the time.
What are your 'Payment Options'?
We have a robust set of payment options.
We accept Checks, Money Orders, most major Credit/Debit Cards and (of course) Cash.
To make your payment, you can either come in and visit with the manager with
your payment, drop off your payment in our 'drop box' when you visit, send a
check or money-order in the mail, call with your personal credit/debit card or
pay online or set up 'AutoPay' at any time to automatically charge your
credit/debit card on the 1st of every month.
All payments will be posted 'for' the date they were 'received' and not for the
date they were mailed or dated.
As side note... We do not keep cash on the premises, so all cash payments made
must be 'exact change only'.
If you don't have exact change at the time of payment,
Any amount paid 'above and beyond' your current month bill will be applied to
your following month's rent.

Do you offer insurance?
Our facility does not offer insurance.
Almost every facility that does offer this option, use a 3rd party and they
themselves do not provide it as an 'in-house' option.
We will be more than happy to provide you information on how to obtain 'Storage
Insurance' should you require/request and most 'Home Owners' insurance policies
- and sometimes even Vehicle insurance policies -
have the ability to add your storage unit to your existing policy.

How Secure is your Facility?
No business or person can ever 100% guarantee they will never be vandalized, however...
We believe we can honestly say that we are among the most secure facilities in the area.
Our 'Live On' manager keeps a close eye on the property night and day and his 2
'four-legged' companions help keep the 'bad guys' away! :-) Along with this,
our drives are well lit and we do have facility cameras to help us keep an eye
out for any negative activity. Our manager also maintains a great relationship
with our local Bastrop Police Officers as we continue to maintian our facility
to be well-respected in our community.
Do you allow your customers to use your facility electricity?
Use of our Facility Electricity is solely at our Manager's Descretion and is
evaluated on a 'case-by-case' basis.
Initially, we have to say 'no' but you are welcome to discuss your requirements
and our manager might be able to accomodate your needs.
As a side note... We do not allow 'Band Practice' at our facility.
We strive to maintain our facility as a quiet and peaceful experience for all
our valued customers at all times.
As another side note... Regardless of whether our Manager allows the use of our electricity,
it will be considered a "One Time Use". Under no circumstances is any form of "Permanent
Use" of the electricy permitted.
Do you have any Storage and/or 'Storage Packing' Recommendations?
This is a broad subject and so, we recommend you contact our Facility Manager.
We're certain you'll find him helpful with any questions and/or concerns you might have.
Do you rent trucks or trailers and/or provide help with moving?
We do not rent trucks or trailers and we ourselves do not offer 'Moving Help' however...
We would be happy to give you some possible options and/or advice you might find useful.
As a side note... We quit Recommending Moving Help because (of course) cannot guarantee your
'Quality of Experience' with them.
Do you offer any Discounts?
Above and beyond any 'Move-In' discount we may (or may not) be currently offering,
We do offer a wide range of 'Monthly Discounts' for our Very Valued Customers.
These range from 'Multi-Unit' discounts (for those renting more than one
unit), to 'First Responder' discounts (i.e. Law Enforcement and Fire
Fighters). We also offer a Military Discount for all those currently serving in
our various esteemed United States Armed Forces who have dedicated their lives
to protect us, our Country and our Freedom.
There may be others, so be certain to call our manager and ask what others may be currently available.
